Privacy policy

We collect your name, email, mobile number and delivery address at checkout, because those are what we need to prepare, ship and follow up on your order.

We also record anonymised browsing data (pages visited, device type) to improve the store. It is not linked to your name.

We do not accept card payments and never store card details. Orders are paid by InstaPay or Vodafone Cash transfer, or in cash to the courier on delivery; for transfers we see only what your banking or wallet app shows us.

We share your address and phone with the courier solely to deliver your order, and billing details with the payment gateway. We never sell or rent your data.

You never need an account to buy. If you choose to create one, you can continue with Google or register with your email and a password. Either way we never see or store the password — Google's authentication service (Firebase) handles it directly — and all that reaches us is your name, email, and profile picture if there is one.

We create a record for you with your first order even if you check out as a guest, so we can deliver it and remember your address next time.

If you have an account you can download a full copy of your data, or delete your account outright, yourself at any moment from the “My details” page — with no need to wait for us.

If you bought as a guest with no account, email us at hello@aloushstore.com and we will carry it out on your behalf within 30 days.

Deleting your account erases your personal data in full — name, mobile, address, wishlist and marketing choices. Only your past orders remain, as the commercial and accounting records the law requires us to keep for five years, and they are used for nothing else.

Marketing messages are entirely optional and you can switch them off any time from your account. Messages about your orders always arrive, because they are part of fulfilling the order itself.

We use essential cookies to run your bag and remember your language and currency, plus analytics cookies to understand page performance. You can clear them in your browser settings.
